7/15/10

Today I woke up pretty early. 7:30 I think. My plan was that if I slept late, (like I always, I'm not able to sleep at all anymore) and woke up early, then I wouldn't have enough sleep. If that happened, then I would be able to sleep earlier. I was glad I actually committed myself to doing what I was supposed to do, because then I had a bunch of extra time to do random stuff in. I did everything I usually did in the morning, but I had  Today would have more time in it, because of the dramatic early bird. I ate breakfast while playing Fantage, and AGAIN there was nothing to cook in it. But, I am NOT complaining.

I wanted to play Fantage pretty badly because the new PETS were coming out. When I went on, I was kind of surprised. Everything had new arrivals. New clothes, hairs, boards, and rare items. That's when I spend spend spend. I usually just play Fantage and collect gems, but that is because whenever new things come out, I could get them as fast as I want to. If there is ever something new, I probably spend 1,000 starz into buying all them. Then in the 2 month+ time period when nothing is new, I get back the 1,000 starz, or sometimes more. Yay! I love my method of getting things in Fantage. Really the "pets" thing in Fantage is very stupid. I kind of hate it. I tried it, and it's just well, weird. It's not like you could walk it or anything, you just spend money and time on it.

After playing Fantage, I started to blog, just a tiny bit. I think I spent all my computer time on playing Fantage. I think that the Fantage people decided to surprise all of us to give the people who play Fantage everything new, all at once. I guess the method worked pretty well, because I was surprised (pleasantly) and appreciated the way the Fantage people do there thing. The only thing I don't appreciate is premium members being "Oh, so awesome" and always winning the Fantage Top Models.

I finally, after spending at least an hour doing actual playing computer, I finally decided to finish the very last parts of sewing. I was excited about finishing the pouch, but I wasn't excited about hand sewing. I had decided to hand sew the inner layer to the outer, which would take a year. But, I thought I could do it. I started on the first couple stitches, and boy, THEY SUCK. I really hated them. I finally tried to get the entire piece into the sewing machine, and well, that didn't work well. Before that, I had to also sew the zipper on the outside layer. I didn't think that the layers of the fabric would effect how the sewing machine would work, but with all the access fabric jamming out of the sewing machine while sewing equals a high chance of ruining the overall stitch. I didn't know much, but after finding an advantage, I finally started making progress. I figured out that since I was using navy thread top and bottom, that the stitch on the other side, the DENIM side wouldn't show a lot. And since the zipper was going to get covers by the inside layer, I didn't care much about sewing a nice stitch. As long as the zipper actually got on. Back to sewing the inside stitch. I really didn't like thinking about too many things at a time (which is equivalent to doing long division in my head) so I just... "had to" take a break. I then watched TV.

Not much to TV, but I had recorded the "Winter Beauties" (2010) pageant. I liked it. I only liked the two other OLDER girls, not the inexperienced girls who think they are awesome; even though it's not their fault that their mom made them do it. NO HARD FEELINGS, I'M JUST SAYING MY OPINION. Go Brooklyn! Her facial shape is much prettier than Brittani, (I think that's how your supposed to spell it)  who's face is skinnier, and also has a smirky smile that draws attention. Somehow they are "TOUGH" competition towards each other. I thought that Brooklyn was prettier though, and had better outfit and talent. Er, I am just glad that Brooklyn won the Ultimate Grand Supreme, (That's the highest scoring girl) and that Brittani won the second highest one, because I could tell that they both worked equally hard. Poor Brittani, she had the WRONG CD, so she had to just leave stage, without doing her correct routine. Now that I think about it, I like both of the girls equally now. They both are very good.

After watching that, I got back to sewing. Man, it is very annoying sewing STRAIGHT ish and through a bunch of layers. It is, very annoying. Sewing zippers are hard, and perhaps I left too much to be done for me at one day. I get frustrated really easily, so I only did one side, and had to take a break. I think that I got frustrated once on one stitch, and cut most of the fabric off. STUPID ME! That made me do the entire stitch over again, or at least half of it. If I were a little bit more patient, it wouldn't have turned out so weird. One side was PERFECT, but the other side was purely horrid. My mom asked me if I wanted to do it over, because it wasn't that good. Well I said no, knowing that I wouldn't bother to finish it, knowing how much hard work it takes for doing such an easy looking project. Really, WAY HARDER than it seems.

Finally after fixing all the annoying glitches in the project, I had FINISHED! After making a pencil box, I never ever want to make one every again; IT IS SO HARD! Anyway, I was pretty proud of myself for actually committing myself to finishing it. I am pretty sure that my friend will not use it, but I think that she'll appreciate it.

Not much going on after that, until swimming. I was hoping that I would work harder this time, not be so selfish and scared when doing the backstroke flip turns. The thing is, is that our coach would also been in the water with us; but I didn't remember that. When I went, I was a bit late, but whatever. That's also when I realized that I HAD A GIRL SUBSTITUTE! Her name was ****** or *****. Either one, I don't know how you spell it. I had a pretty nice time. Er, we did a lot of backstroke. We also did flip turns. I AM NOT BAD! Haha, I decided to not be a chicken, and do super strong backstrokes after the flags, and then do stroke count thing. Backstroke flip turnss are pretty simple. Once you see the flag, do the magic number of strokes and then corkscrew, and flip turn. The magic number you have to figure out yourself, by counting how many strokes it take to get from the flags to the walls. Then minus one stroke for the corkscrew. I did pretty good I think. My second one was okay, because I was too close to the wall , and I had to use my other hand to push me backwards in order to do the flip turn.

Swimming was pretty fun, but then when we got to chose whether to swim to the other side of the wall or get out the pool and walk, I chose to walk. I COULD'VE RACED THE OTHER PEOPLE! Darn it. I should've raced. Humph. Next time? Whatever. I am way too competitive.

That's really all to my day. I was hoping to wake up early next morning when I slept. Hm, it was also hard to sleep, like usual.
